What is carbon monoxide?

Carbon monoxide (CO) is a colourless, odourless, tasteless gas produced by incomplete combustion of fuels such as natural gas, propane, oil, wood, and gasoline. It can cause flu-like symptoms, unconsciousness, and death. A certified CO alarm is the only reliable way to detect it in your home.
